In an eff ort to make the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) implementation of LATISTA Field easier and more successful, LATISTA has already configured several features of its software to meet those used and required already by the USACE. The LATISTA Field OSHPD-specific workflow below includes inspection templates and checklists that meet OSHPD requirements and allows an outside Inspector of Record (IOR) to participate in the quality process. By combining IOR activities with those of contractors and subcontractors, paper-and-pen processes are eliminated and documentation needed for state compliance is created automatically.

LATISTA Field is ready out of the box to provide automated solutions to several jobsite- and office processes. With all project stakeholders collaborating in one system, communication and efficiency are improved, leading to faster project turnover with higher quality.

LATISTA Field can access and update BIM models in the field, so project team members can view project status, manipulate the models, mark them up, and use them to illustrate construction items with more accuracy than would be off ered by a 2D building plan. With LATISTA's mobile and web-based solution, architects, owners, and contractors can all collaborate using one comprehensive BIM model on and off the jobsite.

LATISTA allows owners to transition easily from the construction process to facilities managment, using the data collected during field inspections. Issue information including quality correction process, inspection warranty, and time-stamped drawings and photographs can all be exported to Excel, using COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) formatting or otherwise. Using LATISTA after construction allows facilities managers to see what went on behind every wall with every installation.
