More than 105,000 housing professionals gathered in Orlando last week, making the 2006 International Builders’ Show (IBS) the most successful and well-attended annual convention in the history of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This year’s show filled the Orange County Convention Center with a record 967,000 net square feet of exhibits showcasing the most innovative products and services aimed specifically at the residential and light commercial construction industries. The four-day expo began Jan. 11 with Grand Opening Ceremonies headlined by former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
